This article explains how to archive a tender exercise in Delta eSourcing. Archiving removes a completed or cancelled tender from your active list, keeping your workspace tidy while retaining the records for audit purposes.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- The tender exercise you wish to archive or close
Step 1 – Navigate to Tender Exercises
- From the main menu, go to Tender Exercises.
- Locate the tender exercise you wish to archive.
Step 2 – Archive the Tender
- Access the tender exercise from the list.
- Click the Three-dot menu next to the title.
- Click Archive.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
- The tender will be moved to the archived list and will no longer appear in your active exercises.
Step 3 – Unarchive a Tender (If Needed)
- If you need to restore an archived tender, navigate to your archived tenders.
- Access the tender from the list.
- Click the Three-dot menu next to the title.
- The tender will be returned to your active list.
Tender Exercise Statuses
A tender exercise can have the following statuses:
- Preliminary – The tender is being set up and has not yet been published.
- Active – The tender is live and accepting responses.
- Completed – The tender has been evaluated and awarded.
- Archived – The tender has been archived and is no longer active.
Things to Note
- Archived tenders retain all data and can be viewed for audit purposes.
- Buyer Evaluators and Auditors cannot archive or unarchive tenders.
- Archiving does not delete any records.
